Ages and Stages Child Development Center, located in Waymart PA, is a child care center which can provide care for up to 29 children, ages six weeks through six years from 6 am to 6 pm. The center is located on the mezzanine of Mallard Meadows Residential Healthcare Center.

This inter-generational child care program is designed to benefit the children as well as the residents of Mallard Meadows. The center was founded on the belief that children learn through their interactions with others.

Combining generations is an important component of the centers curriculum. The creative developmentally appropriate curriculum, including regularly scheduled activities with residents, is provided to enhance the emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development of each child in care.

 A creative curriculum tailored to each child’s age and stage of development. Intergenerational experiences are provided as   a part of the curriculum.
 Providing daily or weekly care…pre-reading and pre- writing.
 One Level handicap accessible entrance.

 Nutritious meals and snacks.
 Laundering of naptime linen.

The safety of our children is of up to most importance to us. We have new signs outside to make drivers aware that children are the near the center. The school bus picks up the older children at the front door.

To increase our learning process, we have two computers available with Internet Access in the classrooms.

We have a constant learning, growing and changing cycle.
